Who we are

Rooted in Arabic. Leading with AI.

Arabic.AI builds the AI that 500M+ Arabic speakers actually deserve — one that understands the language’s rhythm, dialects, and cultural context, not a translated afterthought of a Western model.

/ 01 Our story

From Tarjama to Arabic.AI.

In 2008, Nour Al Hassan saw a gap: no language tools respected Arabic’s complexity. She started Tarjama from a small Amman office and spent 16 years building the region’s leading Arabic language solutions provider.

In 2026, the company pivoted. The same linguistic depth, now fused with frontier AI, became Arabic.AI — an AI operating layer built specifically for the Arabic-speaking enterprise.

/ 02 Core values

What we build on.

Three principles sit underneath every product decision, every hire, and every customer conversation.

Integrity

Ethical AI isn’t optional. Human oversight is baked in at every layer. We refuse to take data shortcuts.

Innovation

A fifth of every revenue dollar goes back into R&D: dialect recognition, Quranic script analysis, frontier modeling.

Customer-centricity

Every solution is tuned for an industry, with ROI measured in time saved and cultural precision delivered.

/ 03 Why us

Arabic deserves AI built for it, not adapted to it.

Generic LLMs hallucinate on Arabic because they treat it as an afterthought. Our Pronoia model is trained on vetted Arabic data spanning 17+ years of linguistic work, 2B+ proprietary words, and 22 dialects. It understands MSA, code-switching, and the formal tone enterprise work demands.

The moat isn’t the model alone. It’s the model + data pipeline + human-in-the-loop linguists who refine every output for cultural accuracy, under compliance postures (GDPR, residency, audit) that enterprises and governments can actually sign off on.
