RIYADH, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 7 October 2026 - Arabic.AI today announced it has joined Microsoft as one of 40 strategic partners committed to the new Microsoft Saudi Arabia East datacenter region. The partnership brings Arabic.AI’s Arabic-first AI solutions, agents, and agentic platform to local Azure infrastructure, enabling Saudi government and enterprise organizations to run production-ready Arabic AI with in-Kingdom data residency, security, and low latency.

The Saudi Arabia East region, located in the Eastern Province and comprising three availability zones, becomes available to customers in November 2026. For Saudi government and enterprise organizations, local infrastructure means their most sensitive workloads, from regulated data to national systems, can run on advanced AI without ever leaving the Kingdom. Arabic.AI joins a partner ecosystem spanning security, infrastructure, data and AI, and industry applications.

What each partner brings

Microsoft provides the trusted, enterprise-grade cloud and AI foundation for the Kingdom, with local data residency and the scale of the global Azure platform.

Arabic.AI brings Arabic-first artificial intelligence built on 18+ years of Arabic language expertise from Tarjama. Its models, led by LLM-X, are ranked number one on Stanford CRFM’s HELM Arabic, an independent, public, and reproducible benchmark of Arabic language model performance. Delivered on the Saudi Arabia East region, Arabic.AI’s solutions, agents, and agentic platform, including CleverSo, can now run inside the Kingdom on sovereign infrastructure.

Areas of collaboration

  1. Deploying Arabic.AI’s solutions, agents, and agentic platform, including CleverSo, on Azure within the Saudi Arabia East region for in-Kingdom data residency
  2. Bringing production-ready Arabic AI across translation, content, and enterprise operations to Saudi government and enterprise on local infrastructure
  3. Supporting Saudi organizations as they move from AI experimentation to deployment at scale
  4. Advancing Arabic-first AI adoption in line with the Kingdom’s national digital and AI ambitions

Quote, Arabic.AI

“Saudi Arabia is building one of the most ambitious AI economies in the world, and it deserves AI that understands its language first. By bringing our Arabic-first models to Microsoft’s Saudi Arabia East region, we give the Kingdom’s institutions the best of both worlds: world-class Arabic AI, running on trusted infrastructure inside their own borders. This is what sovereign, production-ready Arabic AI looks like at Saudi scale,” said Nour Al Hassan, Founder and CEO of Arabic.AI.

Microsoft has described the Saudi Arabia East region as the next phase of its long-term investment in the Kingdom, providing a local digital foundation to support mission-critical workloads and accelerate AI adoption as organizations move from experimentation to deployment at scale, in sectors where data residency, security, resilience, and latency are critical.
